Stuart Kim is a Partner in the firm's Business and Tax Group. Stuart's areas of practice include Mergers and Acquisitions, New Company Formations, Venture Capital, and General Corporate and Business matters. He also has an extensive background in the Internet and in Software, Technology and Content Licensing and Outsourcing, as well as Strategic Alliances, and Marketing and Promotions agreements.
Stuart received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Government from Pomona College, with a double major in Philosophy and Government. In 1993, he received his Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law, where he was the Chief Articles Editor for the Asian Pacific Islander Law Journal and the Articles Editor of the Pacific Basin Law Journal. He was previously associated with the law firms of White & Case LLP and O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, and has held in-house counsel positions at the Walt Disney Company and, most recently, Homestore, Inc., where he was Vice-President, Senior Corporate Counsel.
Stuart has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1993.
