Darin is a Partner in Silver & Freedman's Business & Tax Department and is also an active participant in the firm's Apparel Industry, Consumer Electronics, Real Estate Intellectual Property, Apparel and Hospitality Practices. He represents clients in commercial and business transactions, litigation and dispute resolution, business formation/dissolution/acquisition/sale, partnership law, intellectual property and real estate – leases, acquisitions and financing. He has extensive experience representing companies in the auto, apparel, hospitality, real estate and consumer electronics industries, among others.
Utilizing his unique legal and business backgrounds and keeping an eye on the big picture, Darin often acts as general counsel to assist clients not only with the legal issues that arise in their business but also the strategic direction of the overall business. This focus on the big picture and the ability to bring in the expertise of other Silver & Freedman lawyers and outside consultants allows Darin to provide comprehensive consultation to clients regardless of the issues they are facing in their business.
Darin received his B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University in 1994 and received a joint J.D./M.B.A. from Pepperdine University in 1997. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998 and is a member of the American Bar Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association. Darin is the Past President of The Professionals Club which is a networking group with a wide range of business backgrounds including accountants, bankers, lawyers, property agents and developers, financial advisors, and other professionals, that serve the local business community.
