Michelle Cuenca is an Associate in the Firm's Employment and Labor Law Department. She represents and counsels employers in all areas of employment law, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour claims. Michelle litigates employment and labor cases in state courts as well as administrative agencies, including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Prior to joining Silver & Freedman, Michelle was an Associate with Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi, LLP where she defended employers and insurance companies against work-related injury claims at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. She earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of California Los Angeles, School of Law in 2003, where she was the Chief Managing Editor of the Pacific Basin Law Journal.
Michelle is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Century City Bar Association.
