Leon Katz is of counsel at Silver & Freedman and a member of the firm's Business & Tax Department. He represents clients on tax matters, real estate, estate planning, probate and trust administration, corporate and highly complex business transactional matters.
Leon is a member of the California State Bar and the Wisconsin Bar. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Leon received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin School of Law in 1948. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1946.
Prior to joining Silver and Freedman, Leon was a partner of the law firm Tyre, Kamins, Katz & Granof and prior to that a partner of the firm Katz, Granof & Palarz.
