Perry Silver is the Co-Founder of Silver & Freedman. He has advised, counseled, and negotiated on behalf of California businesses and business persons for over 35 years.

Perry has negotiated the merger, acquisition and/or sale of numerous corporations and business entities and is seasoned and creative in helping his clients build and exit their businesses. Perry also has been active in dispute resolution, unfair competition counseling, entity counseling, negotiation and preparation of leases, real estate transaction documents, employment agreements, distributorship contracts, licenses and a vast array of other operational agreements. In addition, he has counseled in the organization and operation of not-for-profit entities, including private foundations, 501(c)3 and 501(c)(4) entities, and has broad legal knowledge and expertise in the arena of corporate law.

Perry has spoken and taught on such diverse topics as ways and means of avoiding business litigation, antitrust issues for distributors and salespeople, buy-sell agreements, and protecting trade secrets, and was featured as a speaker at the National Meat Association Annual Convention where he discussed product liability issues and their effect on the meat-packing industry.

Perry is an active member of the Anti-Trust and Business Law Practice Sections of the American Bar Association, the Anti-Trust and Law Practice Management Sections of the California Bar Association, the Business and Corporate Sections of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Business Organization, Corporate Law and Real Property Sections of the Century City Bar Association.

Perry has been selected by Los Angeles Magazine, to its list of Southern California Super Lawyers, an honor bestowed on only 5% of the lawyers in Southern California. He was also named "Transactional Lawyer of the Year" by the Century City Bar Association.

Perry received his J.D., with honors, from Loyola University School of Law in 1970. He received his B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1967.

Perry's devout avocations include golf, skiing, and singing. He counts among his lifelong accomplishments his first hole-in-one on the same day that Lee Trevino earned his in the Skins Game at PGA West, as well as singing the national anthem at a professional hockey game. Perry has been known to combine his love of golf and singing, resulting in something akin to an Italian tragic opera performed over the course of eighteen holes.
