AB1825 Training

If you completed your AB 1825 training last year, the law still requires that all new managers be trained within six months of hire or promotion. Take this opportunity to send any managers and supervisors who have not yet fulfilled their AB 1825 requirement. Videos, CD-Roms, or pre-recorded Internet programs will not suffice. A "supervisor" is any individual having the authority to "hire, transfer, suspend, lay off , recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees...". Managing an assistant, for example, may be enough to be a supervisor.
