What is the Employee Handbook Program?

For a flat fee your business can participate in Silver & Freedman's Employee Handbook Program. Unlike many
other services, this program provides you with a fully customized employee handbook that is tailored for your
business and complies with all applicable federal and state laws, including the most recent changes in legislation
and case law.

How does the Employee Handbook Program work?

We send you a template of a sample employee handbook, which may well include some policies that are not
applicable to your business. The template also includes dialogue boxes at the top of each policy, indicating
whether we feel the policy is mandatory, highly recommended, or simply optional for inclusion in the final
handbook. The dialogue boxes also contain reference guides and helpful tips to understand the options contained
in, or the reasons for, the policy.

The template takes you through the creation of a handbook, policy by policy. You may interlineate any changes,
delete any policies which are not applicable, and attach any policies which you have developed as unique to your
business. Upon receiving your changes, we will schedule a time to discuss your modifications, answer any
questions, and go over any issues necessary to make this handbook fit your company. Under Silver & Freedman's
Employee Handbook Program, you will receive up to one hour of telephone consultation with one of our
employment law attorneys to address any questions or concerns regarding the customizing process.

Once the revisions are complete, the final, customized handbook will be sent to you in hard copy or electronically
in order to disseminate to your workforce.
